Glenn, Even I bought a CD-Speed Writer(read-write CD) last weekend. I paid $419. I think it was priced closed to $900 at the beginning of this year?? Digital down-loading music(CD quality) is here. Down-loading softwares onto re-wri CDs is quite popular now...The write one-time only blank CD costs only $2. The re-wri "forever" one costs about $10. Amzn will most likely remain a "Book seller" only. Already I have requests from friends....Oops; is this legal? :)) Jan
