Once again Dell has been seriously underestimated by the Market, and so have the techs in general. They are learning slowly, the on-line brokers and now the banks are in a rush to the Web. I have not fully abandoned the old school of investing, this is a revolution in marketing and it takes time to change. Market analysts and brokers will continue to recommend oils, bonds, banks, autos, insur, aircraft, retailers as "solid" investments. They have a job to do, selling company bonds, new issues( gravy), re-issues,and just general churning for fees. And will still call most of the techs speculative. IMO 'they' do not yet understand the magnitude of tech/web growth (unless they are tuned in to a feature like SI)ggg, which gives us ample time to get on board some of these issues. Dell has lots of room to grow. Sig |
