I am not in favor of the merger proposal as it exists today. I do not believe there is a big enough premium at the proposed price based upon the solid fundamentals for isli. I also do not like the way it was structured; however, I do believe some money can be made due to the 11-14% discount that isli has been trading at in comparison to the merger proposal. As we get closer to the date of completion of the merger, the premium should move down to a more reasonable 2-3% discount. While I am not in agreement with the merger, I still believe it will take place. My 3000 shares will have little impact on the vote but will be voted against the merger.
If the stock were to reach $22.50, I would sell out; however I believe the deal should have been done around $25/share.
