<<Now he just has to figure out how to cash in>>

Did it ever occur to you that it could even be possible that Bezos believes in the long-term prospects for the company? And, that like most longs who bought early, and like most insiders, he wants to hold on for the long term?

You may think AMZN is a lousy long-term investment. You are entitled to your opinion and to share it. You may sell AMZN short and buy puts, etc. But it is presumptuous for you to think you know Bezo's intentions, when there has not been a shred of evidence to support your postulate that he wants to "cash in".

This biggest reason that so many bears have gotten beaten up by this stock is because the insiders have not "cashed in" as much as everybody expected. Hence the small float, and the short squeezes, etc. The insiders were unlocked in the fall of 1997. I am surprised that such a small percentage (I'd guess less than 25%) of them have sold.

If you continue this "denial of reality"--and continue believing that Bezos is on the verge of some "scheme" to "cash in" and are wrong, it may cost you a lot of money.

Best Regards,
Tom D
