I want to thank everyone who went down to Houston to talk with the MTEI brass. Valuable evaluation although I am waiting til tomight to read through everything carefully.
I got into MTEI as a momentum play (I admit it) and was too greedy when it reached 1.75, thinking that it would continue to plow through to it's book value or thereabouts (2.85). So I held as it drifted lower and lower and lower (and learned a bit about the company in the meantime). While everything I have read suggests that this could be a wonderful LONG TERM investment, very little leads me to believe that it is a good SHORT TERM investment. In two years or so everyone who has bought and held at these levels may well be smiling and I plan to keep some for those future days. But what is going to move this price short term? I dont think the Stagg reports will do it and those may trickle out over months. What else is there? Jack and the gang are busy building the company, as well they should be, and I dont see anything in the near future that gets the attention of the investment community. Please correct me if I am wrong. Otherwise I feel I will have to unload the majority of my shares (not a hell of alot to some but plenty to me) so I can start making $ off my $ again.
