Check SPLS over last 6 years or so: it rises and plateaus but trends upward in a fairly convincing manner. Major stall was pending merger with ODP. I gotta brag and say that my average cost was about $1.50 per share. I'm a CPA and work with several multistate retailers (not including SPLS). I don't know too many others that have executed store growth as well as these people have. Only concern is that they are a little too growth crazed. Over-expansion is the classic demise of the retailer, essentially stalling decent stocks for lengthy periods of time. I check SPLS stores in 4 cities during business travels and compare them to ODP and OMAX. Only complaint is that the customer service needs to improve. Otherwise, I'm currently adding to my position, even at this level. Also, placement of Quill family shares is to be expected; being done in an orderly fashion.
