'THE world's first national television advertising campaign on year 2000 readiness has returned
a better than expected response - after only 24 hours.

Federal Government Year 2000 Industry Program marketing director Catherine Pawle said the
number of inquiries at call centres had tripled since the first advertisement was aired on all
networks on Sunday night.
