1. ToySoldier is just a NOVL lover and Microsoft hater. Although I believe in listening to both sides of the issue, he is so one-sided that it is hardly worth the effort.

2. Technical merits aside, Microsoft is a marketing company first and technology company second. (Unlike NOVL which has it backwards.) By this alone, regardless of Y2K, version numbers, etc, NT5 will be huge success.

3. NT5 is a fantastic product! And yes I am speaking of technicals.

4. Finally, I would venture to guess that more than 50% of the people at Microsoft are using NT and a large part of that is NT5.
