Jockey Boy,

You mean it looks like you manipulated the facts again, but still don't understand what the real message is.

First, what is the logic in picking that date? Go back to your charts and look at almost any meaningful period over the past three years and you see nothing but under-performance. Of course, there will be periods where lsi actually did out perform but they are the exception, not the rule.

Second, what do you think the sequential revenue and profit performance is for the companies in the sox vs LSI? This is the real point....Admittedly without creating the data, I would wager that the sox is showing significant sequential deterioration in business results while LSI will show sequential improvements. Therefore, shouldn't LSI be SIGNIFICANTLY outperforming these other companies in stock price as well (especially when you consider 1999 estimates for most sox components vs LSI). THAT is the point, now do you understand?

Third, Who is this Rob guy at LSI? Did he replace Diana M.? If so, than maybe this is the first step in making improvements, although both Corrigan and Norby will have to make dramatic changes in their approaches as well. This could be very encouraging news!
