Brave Kahunans. . . . Was yesterday the top on the SPX, DJIA, NYSE, OEX? Was today the top on the NASDAQ? Really, no one can predict the future. Really. That's my position and I'm sticking by it. One of the more interesting threads here this year concerned the 55 day rule. It seems really unlikely any BK will come before we get close to that date. Really no more than a big fat head and shoulders pattern. Everyone here seems most concerned with finding the head and profiting down to the right shoulder. Me, I'm waiting until that shoulder appears, then I'll hope to ride it down. . . . We still haven't made the head yet, have we? Individual stocks yes . . . averages, no. Market leaders, no. I've got no emotional attachment to which way the markets move, just a financial interest in being on the right side. Energy can be neither created nor destroyed . . . money on the other hand. . . . happy whale-watching and good luck to all d.r.
