The first company to hit 450 PII-equivalent MHz for under $400 gets my next CPU upgrade.

My next upgrade will be a 333 MHz CPU for under $100 ;-)

What's going on with the new generations 7200 RPM drivers? Are they quieter, run cooler? I still have one of the early version of Barracuda drives, and the thing is very noisy, and runs extremely hot.

And NT 5.x my next O/S.

I think NT5 (or it's derivative) will be everybody's next OS ;-)
