Dr. Fleckenstein, it seems to me Toshiba is using a iron frame. Correct me & pardon if I'm wrong but........ "The Opart is also the first commercial MRI system equipped with an iron-core superconducting magnet. All other supercons on the market are based on air-core magnet designs. " I know it doesn't say iron frame like the Fonar patents but it really sounds like iron-core might be the key. ???
