Sabrina, and the Golden Jack of Hearts

There was money on the table,
in the little shop,
Turner, Guido, , and the sec boys,
waitin for the flop
The whisky was a flowin,
staining all the cards
You could say these boys,
had been playin hard
Turner with his cell-phone,
calculater and big hand,
Sabrina looking over his shoulder,
her pretty eyes tired and bland,
Guido had gold dust on his fingers,
and a parachute on his back,
The sec boys with loaded guns,
eyeing the greasy deck,
Dealer laid them out
full of aces and faces;
Guido dug deep,
he knew there would be plenty of raises.
the sec boys showed a pink slip,
and little Sabrina gasped,
She knew this hand
would be Big Turners Last
She reached into the bosom
of her golden gown,
pulled out some nuggets
and laid them all down,
The crowd outside the door
were all raising hell,
for the outcome of this game
could make them all well.
Sabrina went to the door,
and she loudly cried,
These sec boys are angry,
their guns are all 45's
And there's only one card,
that will save us all
Just hope we got enough,
to stand their bluff and call
The card had come to Sabrina,
in a wild and strange dream
At first it scared her,
and she woke up in a scream,
A Golden Jack of Hearts,
that first struck her with fear
Given to her by a foreign man
called Behre Dolbear
She slid to the table,
the card was in her head,
not next to Guido,
but the sec boys instead,
The gaslight shown down,
on her golden breast
and the sec boys were blinded ,
in that magical instant
Somehow in the flash,
cards all seemed to change
The sec boys stood up,
all in a rage
Turner reached out,
to pull in the pot,
Sabrina's eyes teared,
there was the Golden Jack of Hearts
The crowd outside the door,
who were hanging by a thread
Shouted all as one
Like they had been raised from the dead
Then out of the mist, showing no fear
Strode the man in the dream, Behlre Dolbear
He looked at the table
and put his guns down
Turned to Turner saying
"There's a new Sheriff in Town,
I'm taking some nuggets
that there is my part,
for delivering, the Golden Jack of Hearts |
