Will Dell ship to Europe? And just how much would THAT cost you??
Also, can you get repairs for a Dell by an authorized dealer/repair center anywhere else in the world but the US??
Furthermore, if you need a computer in the near future, due to "unforseeable" circumstances , and can't wait the 2 to 3 weeks for a Dell - can you go to a number of local locations and pick up a Dell??
PATIENCE People..... sanity will reign. The world is full of impulse shoppers and the only viable choices (in person and now) are Compaq or the Macintosh/Apple. This is ALMOST as true in the US as it is (for sure) in Europe!
