Diamond, you may be the guy who is out of line and out of touch. If Slider is a cheerleader, then he is your successor. At least he is consistent. You went from "just put those drillers in the safe deposit box for the golden years" to Chicken Little "the sky is falling" in about two trading days. And Luc has been right for so long ? Give me a break. If he was bearish on the drillers, it is only because he has been bearish on everything for many months (except gold and Japan...two great calls there). The guy has been totally 100% deadass wrong on everything for months. Endless yammering about NASCRAP as it soars to new highs. He may not have shorted DELL but he was certainly encouraging everyone to short it about 40 points lower. You are giving too much credence to loudly expressed upper-case opinions. Trying to call major turns in financial markets is the ultimate fool's game.
