George : Can you honestly say that NVX is a good short based on the fact that it fell 30%? Point is that the statement is at best misleading. The short interest numbers really didn't change very much when the stock was in the 20's. Most of the shares shorted were shorted in the low teens and single digit numbers. I don't happen to think the shorts even like NVX as a short play. Fact is i think they hate it. They are stuck. well that is enough . You are a sophisticated investor. You pick and choose what input has value and what doesn't. You are the exception. You know the difference. Now as to " the street" , i think there is a need for the services that they provide but I can't say i have seen anything come out of them about NVX other than what the shorts have to say. People did sell on what they have written about NVX I am sure. And soon, very soon those people will see a totally different company than the NVX they read about in "the street". As to Cramer, I don't have any feelings about him one way or the other. He could be a nice guy. I just know him. My fuss is about the focus that Jesse has chosen to follow on NVX, He is in the short camp. As to Cramer I do think that he is at least as busy as all the other media editors and I doubt he reviews every little story and researches the background before it goes out. I am sure he places the responsibility on the reporter. So todate we have two mentions of NVX both negative and representing the short view. I would say the message from " the street" is that NVX is a short sale. Well we'll see how they do in the next few weeks on that one. :-}
