What happened this week...

IMO...

1. Mon. - Nesbitt hits the top 2 bids.....sold at least 85k at market.

2. This scared the hell out of everybody...support disappeared as buyers decided there may be a chance to buy in lower (correctly).

3. HEAVY manipulation till early this afternoon or so when depth returned to balanced condition as the selling pressure eased off and support increased at around the same time.

...so here we sit. Just my opinion, but NOTHING has changed within the company to cause this.

Also re. Sceptre....
I have heard concerns expressed about the possibility of Sceptre losing confidence. IMO, there is NO WAY. They are sitting on between 3.2 and +6 M shares FOR SURE in at least 1 fund. Selling their ANZ now would be insane and I doubt very much they want to take the price to .10 after the first few hundred thou shares cause of what kind of return that would yield on their investment. Heads would roll at Sceptre me thinks. Also, keep in mind the purpose of the fund is to invest in LONG-TERM prospects, ie...

"The Equity Growth Fund pursues long-term capital appreciation
and superior performance by investing primarily in Canadian stocks.
Foreign stocks may be held up to the allowable foreign property limit.
This fund will appeal to individuals with a long-term investment horizon and a comfort for potential short-term volatility."

ANZ shares represent at least 0.3% of this fund.

I would say we are satisfying the "short-term volatility" specification quite nicely. :-)

While we would all have loved $5 months ago, this is most likely a LONG-TERM play as you can all see. I think Dennis, et. al. are doing the best they can in this brutal market for Cdn Jrs., and re-focusing on cash-flow is probably a smart idea to ensure we can survive till POG increases (which will likely only happen in the midst of economic collapse in other sectors...which IMO, should be soon now given the economic states of Japan, Russia, Asia).
