Zeus, I saw the $2299 system on TV yesterday (Dimension R400). Dell is not shipping over 8.4 gig drives with NT. NT is certainly an option on the dimension. remember the key is the whole package. Dell offers great pc values. Others will always be cheaper but still not as good. cheap is usually NOT the best. You generally pay for what you get... Sean
