Robert, Sorry to come off brash, no I didn't take offense from your suggestion as I do enjoy being able to help a newbie out! But have been with ETRADE over 10 months now, and have had multiple problems, I understand that the phenomenal growth has a lot to with it, but if they are not careful they will grow right out of business! I personally haven't moved because of wanting to verify the other guys first, make sure they aren't experiencing the same problems. As for Etrades problem this morning I have been back on the web for a while now. They are still slow as molasses right now but it is working. I find that web access is as fast if not faster during normal traffic times (not like opening this morning, everything slow down then) It maybe due to modem speed, computer set up or what I am not sure! I just want to investigate all available options, and try to chose the best for my needs. P.S. again apologies for coming off too strong, but as Warren Zevon used to sing "I'm just an excitable boy" Stan
