Sounds impressive. This is either the Holy Grail of the converging world, or an elaborate hoax that would make Bre-X blush. I am a believer and think this will blow the doors off of many...the tale is in the tape. Even today, after no outright disclaimers by any corporation, people choked because they act like lemmings. In general, volume such as yesterday's precedes the buyout event immediately, and people are programmed to expect that. In this case, where there are likely more than 2 bidders, the leak makes its way out somewhere. Then the NASD ask the preyed-upon company what's up and they play dumb. Meanwhile somewhere there are heated negotiations in order to close a deal before the other guy does.

So, as each day progresses with no new news, people will start to doubt and second-guess themselves. Market makers will dump insignificant amounts of stock on thin volume when everybody's snoozing to panic the longs and shake the tree...until the very end when you wake up to the news!

P.S. Interesting how very little media coverage was given to the volcano-like explosion in trading once resumed yesterday, and the subsequent submission...I'm sure CNBC will get a stern drubbing for hyping the story yesterday! At least I hope they do.
