Need to correct erroneous posting by Zvi Steinberg With respect to the short interest in pharmos, there is over 1,000,000 shares that were shorted in Pharmos as of July 1st. Not true that you cannot short a stock unless it is marginable. Ever hear of cash Zvi? Hate to blast you on the second quarter earnings as well. Dont expect earnings from company. Company will report a loss in second quarter. That is expected and is not a negative development. The first check from Bausch & Lomb to the company had a holdback for the $5,000,000 debt the company owes Bausch & Lomb. It may take quite a while for the company to repay BOL in full. As to whether the company is going to post the first check received in the second quarter or the third quarter. my source said it will be posted in the second quarter. Not that big of a deal. Cannot believe the stock will move either way based on second quarter earnings. Dont expect the stock to move until September when some announcement will be made on the Hu-211 Phase 2 studies. It is even possible that short interest will exceed 1,300,000 on August 1st. That will be bullish. Posting from Dr. Cappiello was huge and informative. As far as I know he is the only practicing optomologist on Si or Yahoo and he has started prescribing the medicine. Also he has seen Trade Journal advertising as early as June. I apologize to you Zvi for contradicting you but it is important for shareholders on both threads to understand the drop in the stock has largely been caused by short sellers and not long liquidation.
