An ol'dog.... The Viper sped through the red light as it entered the residential sub-division. The driver, with total disregard, hurled the machine around the narrow residential road at speeds of up to 150KPH. The small dog trotted along his tale wagging slightly as he looked around the quiet suburb. His master strolled along watching his beloved companion mark his usual spots. They had walked this quiet road for many years, each night, inseparable in that unspoken companionship forged through aeons of trust. The roar of the powerful engine shattered the evening as the car approached the intersection and stop sign. The man had tried many years ago in vain to get his little friend to stop when he reached the curb, it hadn't worked and of course, you can't teach an old dog ....
