SemiBull, here's a table of cash per share for various companies: cash/share share price AGAI $0.16 3.2 SMTL $0.30 9.3 MTSN $2.80 5.2 AMAT $3.29 30.6 IPEC $5.43 10.7 ASYT $6.33 12.6 LRCX $9.16 19.7 SFAM $9.94 18.6 note that some of the companies with lots of cash also have lots of LT debt: LRCX and IPEC in particular and AMAT to a lesser extent, while others have no LT debt, so I wouldn't use this table to pick stocks that are cheap. Just those that are in a dangerous liquidity situation. Judge for yourself, but I think that SMTL and AGAI look risky going into a severe cyclical downturn.
