Kudos to mgmt... From their report: "...Altera added $30.7 million of cash to its balance sheet during the quarter, after the repurchase of 1,010,000 shares of its common stock for $34.7 million..." By my new math, that means their avg. price was $34.356. Closing at 36 3/4 means they already pocketed $2+M, not to mention the future benefits of stock repurchased vs. issued to cover ESPP and options. The 21% growth in Asia/Pacific shocked me. That's gotta be interpreted by that segment of the financial community that thinks Asia is a dead dog.
