Tellabs announced their earnings this morning and during the conference call there were many questions about the Coherent deal again. Like the CCSC conference call on Monday they said they have complied with the Justice Dept's second request an they're expecting a response shortly. TLAB said they shipped over 300 boxes of information and the Justice Dept has given no indication on any issues. TLAB says they can close the deal immediately after they get the approval. There has been apparently no opposition to the deal according to the company. Sounds positive to me.
