Hi,

I got the following from stockhouse.com for July 15/98:

"Jetcom was Wednesday's second most active trader on the Canadian Dealing Network. Profit taking sent the stock lower in a near-term consolidation phase. Our sources lead us to believe there may be additional news released next week regarding important meetings in Toronto and Ottawa."

From a corporate bulletin of July 14 regarding Jetcom it stated:

"Jetcom International will provide offices, administrative support, and sales and marketing support, to the joint venture. Grupo TCI S.A. will locate Project Managers in Canada. Through its offshore programming facilities, Grupo TCI can avail up to 100 programmers to help write code, as assigned by the Project Managers, for the Year 2000 solution. Jetcom International and Grupo TCI S.A. will contribute equally to the costs of the joint venture."

The story isn't over yet. If Jetcom and Grupo TCI can offer a competitively priced solution, then it will get some contracts. I just hope that Grupo TCI can recruit more programmers quickly, when necessary, because that's going put a limit to the size and number of contracts that they can win.

Frank
