Scrapps, I do have e-Schwab, but I couldn't connect with my computer, because the number was always busy. e-Schwab is my source for real-time quotes. Without that, there's always 20 min delayed from virtually anywhere, but in these situations where it's not just idle curiosity, of course 20 min delayed is useless. Cut-off from my source for real-time quotes really sucked. I had never used the Schwab Web Trading before other than to set up the password, which I didn't write down (it used to cost more, but now just recently e-schwab customers get the same commission that you get using the e-schwab software). Doesn't matter anymore, but it was frustrating. I've changed the passwords so that they are the same with e-schwab and also accessing your e-schwab acct on the Schwab Web Trading web site. In case I didn't make it clear, I was finally able to make my buy via the Schwab web site. Thank goodness my local ISP wasn't swamped with calls also...I guess this is a good lesson about preparedness..
