You are absolutely correct. Townsend's numbers seem to change depending on which broker you are using.

For AB Watley (where I used to have an account) the numbers are: 144.228.16.01

For livetrade.com (where I now have a new account) the numbers are different. I am not publishing these since I don't know if the numbers tie to my specific account at Townsend - but as to the Watley account numbers, it makes no difference since my account is closed.

For purposes of testing on a tracert it is probably immaterial whether or not you have established an account.
