A praise report. There was a man two weeks ago that came to salvation , I mentioned this on the thread and some of us had lifted him up for prayer. I personally know this man; big parties on the weekends, lots of smoking pot. I went by to visit and could not believe my eyes. When I would try to witness to him he would always act embarrassed and would pull me off to the side like I was this big source of discomfort to him.
So when I saw him today he was with a customer in his business; I thought, well I better not speak openly about his new salvation he may still not be very comfortable wearing his new robe of righteousness. He sees me coming from 50 feet away and says right in front of his customer. "Greg, did you hear I got saved, Man, I'm a Christian now !" I told him, you bet I heard. I heard the next morning after you got saved; good news travels fast !! Amen.
Next breath, he says the day I got saved I laid my cigarettes down, 5 pack a day habit, and haven't touched one since, isn't that great, I've tried to quit 50 times and never made it past 2 days and it's been over 2 weeks since I've had one. He says. "I can't believe it ". It's great !
