BBTK sold the Broadband Product to Bosch Telecom Inc. BBTK will receive royalties from the sale of the product, if Bosch is capable
of generating some sales outside of the US & Canada. BBTK still have
the rights to sell that product in the U.S. & Canada. I am not sure
if BBTK has a sales force capable of making a sale. There is a need
for FTTC but no one is listening or no one is persuading and educating
those that need it. A new technology emerges every 12-18 months. Lately it has been xDSL, before it was Hybrid/Fiber Coax and before that it was FTTC(Fiber to the Curb). Cost is a big factor for the RBOCs & GTE, xDSL is the lowest cost product for the short term.
But this will last again maybe 12 -18 months because Voice over IP
networks is growing RAPIDLY, and will overload current networks with
xDSL and eventually fiber will be laid all the way to the house.
Where does BBTK fit in this? BBTK is currently attacking the new market and sitting back waiting for some returns on FTTC. Now you
figure what the earnings will look like short term.
