Hearsay2,
Welcome, glad this is your first post as a trial member with SI.
I have some questions you maybe willing to answer?
Have you spoken to Tom Malik about his position with HDST?
Are you aware that the company has a court ordered trustee overseeing operations at HDST?
Tom Malik is the only management person left at HDST and he owns 0% of the stock. He sold his portion when the stock was in the $4-$5 range several years ago.
Personally I have made money several times over the last few years buying and selling HDST. At the present time I have no position with HDST. It is one of the companies I continue to follow even though I don't currently hold a position in them.
Are you aware HDST was handed an opportunity to get a new client by a poster from this thread a few weeks ago and they failed to follow up with the offer? Tom Malik was called directly and handed this opportunity and he didn't follow up.
As you said management runs a company except if your HDST. HDST has a court appointed trustee because HDST management failed to properly run the company. Over the years they bilked monies from HDST to the point that a group of investors in HDST forced them into chapter 11.
HDST has 40 million shares authorized
HDST has 37 million shares outstanding
HDST has 34 million shares in float
Tom Malik said he not sure what size of a reverse split will occur if a new group takes over HDST. He also said he was surprised that HDST was able to stay open this long.
I truly hope you don't have a large position in HDST. The stock is just to unstable to buy at this time IMO.
Have a good one.
John
