Patrick,

I actually think it is telling us something bad, but I have been too stubborn to listen. The market and the sector are doing great so the up/down move in this environment is an indication that people either know something that ain't good or they think the downside is still bigger than the upside. There has been no indication (outside of this thread) that anyone has faith in this company. Expectations are high so it will be difficult to go through the call without having them come down. The only question is, will LSI be able to convince people that they can handle the transitional issues associated with opening a big new fab and integrating a big new merger partner at the same time.

Right now people are saying they don't think they can handle it. I am now nervous about the 23rd call (whereas a month ago I was only upset that LSI wasn't talking more) and business condititons moving forward. This nervousness will force me to evaluate selling a portion of my position before the call. I hope the selling doesn't feed on itself until then. 23 1/2 held today because buyers came in at that price, but there was still plenty of stock for sale at that level. When the buyers run out at that level, stop loss selling could kick in.

What is your plan going into the call?
