I've been cleaning out dad's attic here and found some old valve-type Hi-Fi amplifiers from the late 50's era. These are all the rage now, and it's been fun researching them with the firebottle freaks on the internet.

You guys know it has been 95~105 degrees F continuously here in Texas since MadameGonzo and I arrived from Paris. With the high Gulf Coast humidity, the heat index is around 110 F (!) We joined an (air conditioned) gym and have been lifting weights, trying to get stronger. The food is so cheap and plentiful over here, it's no wonder why all us Americans are so fat ;-)
