On a year-to-year basis, much of the 33 percent expansion in revenues was attributable to growth in I/O products sold to peripheral OEMs. Shipments to these customers climbed more than 50 percent compared with the same quarter a year ago, driven principally by increased demand for hard disk drive controllers.''
