FC related revenue comments from a couple of board level companies reporting today.

Interphase Q2: .09 v .08

biz.yahoo.com

<<Polley noted that the decrease in revenues during the second quarter was attributable to declines in revenues for Interphase's legacy product lines, including products incorporating FDDI, SCSI and Ethernet technologies. However, these declines were partially offset by an increase in revenues from the company's Fibre Channel product line, which grew almost tenfold over the second quarter of last year. Polley said the company expects the steady decline in revenues from its legacy products to continue, based on the typical life cycle for technology products, but anticipates that future revenue growth will come from Interphase products featuring newer technologies.>>

QLogic Q1: .52 v .35

biz.yahoo.com

''Growth in demand for QLogic's fibre channel adapters and chips generated a sequential revenue expansion in the first quarter, enabling net revenues to rise by 6 percent over the fourth quarter. On a year-to-year basis, much of the 33 percent expansion in revenues was attributable to growth in I/O products sold to peripheral OEMs. Shipments to these customers climbed more than 50 percent compared with the same quarter a year ago, driven principally by increased demand for hard disk drive controllers.''
