Tom D. & John May: Welcome. Good to have 2 bulls who want to be analytical about the company (as opposed to the stock -- m fowler et al). If you'd be so kind, could you make available your spreadsheet with a DCF analysis estimating when amzn will make a profit and what % of the global market in music and books it would need to capture to justify its current stock price. If you'd like, you could toss in any other product markets you'd like. If you'd like a head start or something to compare your own analysis to, kindly look for Manish Aurora's posts on TMF -- he's kindly posted his email and made his own spreadsheet available. I eagerly await your analyses, so we can have a freewheeling debate about the company's fundamentals, future and the assuptions that drive your models. LP
