$4.2 million annually is a lot of money. The Downs' had all are earnings tied up in employees (tough time to get laid off) and those stupid leases. $4.2 MM, after some re-investment, will work out to $0.10 - $0.15 per share in earnings in 1997. I'm sorry the employees had to get laid off. The gaming industry is growing in California so I hope they can all find new jobs before the New Year.
