<<Im told that Apple has the best platform for movies over the net.>>

Quicktime technology in general is the the best for movies. That is why it has been adopted as standard by both Windows and Mac users.

Best in terms of audio sync and quality along with clean, clear video streaming without bitmapping of the image.

If you pump up the memory in Quicktime, a full-screen image looks as clear as a 2.5 inch image. You can't get that from Microsoft .avi files which by the way are so big!

I've found that a 12 meg quicktime file is equivalent to a 60 meg AVI file. The audio on AVI doesn't sync to boot!
