From an OEM's point of view, scale is irrelevant.

Unless Intel is willing to give the chipset, audio and graphics away for free, and cut the CPU price in half, there is no way for an OEM to build an Intel system at MediaGX cost.

BTW: Generally it is considered good practice to end questions with a question mark.
