Here's an interesting post (from an always entertaining thread):

Well, looks like you got your wish, lucky you. I have too many shares already,
And I thought this only happened to me! Very often I place an order for, say, a thousand shares of XYZ, and when I get the confirm in the mail, gosh darn it, my broker has thrown in an extra 500 shares just for luck! So now I have too many shares of XYZ...what to do, what to do?
and would like to see this company remember the older shares bought earlier.
Companies today are just heartless, aren't they? As soon as those older shares get a little long in the tooth, and require that tiny bit of extra help, booom! and it's off to the "retirement home", like some discarded Kleenex, out of sight and out of mind.
They need to be more cognizant and sensitive to long term share holders.
Well, if he wants his company to be more cognizant, why didn't he just buy CZT in the first place, instead of TPII???? Duh! |
