Amd K6 266 sells for a little over 349 guilders, with one dollar being like (I havent looked it up.) 1.8 or 1.9 guilders.

With Amd the price difference is marginal, but with Intel cpu's tend to be 20% more expansive than in Usa. Intel usualy to release cpu's EARLIER in usa than in Europe. Where the pII300 was available in usa, it took 2 weeks before it was even for ORDER in Holland...

Intel just doesn't seem to find the European market as important enough as the American one. It has always been usual, that when you browse internet or read a mag, and you see advertizements for uhm , a pII300 or a Voodoo2, it was virtually not for sale in Europe, and you had to order it from usa, if you *really* wanted it.... ( I ment the time that the pII and Voodoo2 were like 2 weeks available in USA)

I'm going to sleep. I'm tired.... Tomorrow i'll continue this msg ;)
