I visited Dell site last weekend noticed the same. Split happens when mngmt thinks that the stock price is too low. Do you think Michel is greedy ??? At 77 pe, (higher then msft) I don't think Dell is cheap. It was 35pe last oct. when stock the stock was $60+ (i mean 34). Just in last 9 months the stock has gone up 4X. PE has expanded from 35 to 77 will earning be 4x as much year over year? Ofcourse, I am not complaining about getting rich on dell. I would just like to stay rich and not have my paper profit disappear. So until tomorrow morning at 9:30 I will not be buying anymore DELL. 9:31 the game starts all over again. Lots of fun while it lasts...
