Bob, For an Example of what Datek will do for you if you complain, See post #9087. Datek is a great example of the old adage, Sh't flows down hill. It comes down from the top. There is no point to complaining to someone who can't do anything about it. It seems clear that they have made a business decision to disregard the customer. These folks have no idea of what marketing is about. They are just burning though the newbies. They are quickly developing negative brand equity. They have no interest in customer satisfaction. They will do nothing until the rapid growth in new customers slows. Only then will Datek realize that it is more important (and profitable) to retain an existing customer than it is to aquire a new one. Too bad they ran into problems trying to take the company public. The way they operate this company would make for great entertainment under the scrutiny of a public offering. Good luck.
