I won't defend Mac OS Rumors on their level of technical knowledge (or lack thereof), but I would maintain that they are occasionally correct. Unfortunately, exploring their archives, I run into a dead-end at only a week or so old--hence no proof of my claim, except this:

Monday before earnings, they said: "According to one source, Apple's third quarter profits are to be in the ballpark of 50 cents per share"

Not bad, although they didn't specify if they meant operating earnings or total.
