4/02/98 - CUSTOMER SPORTS IN FINANCING DISCUSSIONS SAN DIEGO, April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Edmund J. Irvine, Jr., President of Customer Sports (OTC Bulletin Board:CTMR ), announced today that the Company has entered into negotiations with an institution for a standby line of credit for $5,000,000 for its First Tee Golf Centers Division to be used in the reconstruction of driving range facilities where the Company has acquired the operating rights. The funds will also be used for FF&E plus inventory for Back Nine Clubhouses at these locations according to Irvine. "We're optimistic that these funds will enable us to carry out the beginning phase of our expansion plan," said Irvine. Further details of the financing were not disclosed.
