This is a comparison of unlike numbers, and therefore the conclusion is meaningless. Do you know the total number of Zip disks sold? No, you don't.

Ken's statements that the "average user" buys 5 or 6 disks then stops are based on nothing but conjecture. According to the numbers provided by Iomega, disk sales continue to increase. Thus it appears Mr. Pomeranski may be wrong.

Basing your notion of what tie ratios are or will be on your own or your friends disk usage is silly. That goes for bulls as well as bears.

Please note that I am not saying anything about profitability. I am only arguing the point about disk sales.
