Welcome back aboard. I've been a wrong on my short term predictions of VRTL so I'm a long term holder instead of a trader. This recent move down baffles me but could be explained by sellers of friends of Asten/Balmer. Many of their telcom buddies were in the stock in the 2's so they sold at a profit when Asten/Balmer took off. This caused margin implosion and I know many who received margin calls.

In the meantime I did industry checks on the quality of the VRTL product, competiton and management and receive high marks on all.
The only industry issue I've heard about is the focus of telcoms on Y2K issues internally. I believe some telco's have delayed other IS projects and network management integration because they are consumed with Y2k remediation. BB/Brill will probably never admit to this but it was mentioned on the OSII conf. call last quarter.

In the meantime I'm long VRTL and have never sold a share.

Good Luck
Adam
