I have a question for everyone following Bay. It's rumored that next week BAY will announce higher than expected earnings. But I've been pounding my head, trying to anticipate how the market will react.

Let me know what you think is more likely, door #1, door #2 or door #3...

Door #1: News is received well and Bay moves up a point or so on its own merits.

Door #2: News is received well, but market doesn't really care because its realized that BAY is locked at the hip with Nortel anyway. Little to no movement of stock price.

Door #3: Bay is punished for good earnings because some may feel they should have held out for a higher price from Nortel or waited for Lucent.

What do you think?
