I did not make the post about platinum sales in Russia. I do not know how much they sold. Re precious metals--I do not see anything which would indicate a bottom other than platinum vs gold, an platinum has been below gold for rather long periods in the past. We could see a fools rally here, or we could see further declines, or a genuine rally. These are hard markets to call. A lot will depend on the fed and the administration. I have been wrong so many times about this aging bull in equities that I have stopped trying to call it. On the positive side, it has fooled lots of people much smarter than me. Lost a bundle on call options on a tech stock which was looking good technically, going up by leaps, then fell out the bottom on minor bad news. News will move stocks drastically these days.
Did some talking this week, and, though I could not get through to Jensen, several others have told me that sludge production is up, and they are improving the extraction from leaching. It is my guess that they will have some positive news to announce within the next several weeks regarding production, and possibly sales. I think that things are moving ok, but they are not ready to announce yet.
The stock is holding remarkably well , when considering the volume. There appear to be few willing to sell at this level.
The thing that will move the stock is "EARNINGS".
