Generic Drug Market Picks Up Where Patents Leave Off

Hollywood, CA-Emerging Company Report, the nationally syndicated television program which profiles emerging-growth companies (http://www.emergingcompany.com), features an interview this week with the people behind DynaGen, Inc.
(Nasdaq: DYGN)

Chairman Bob Cusick and Director of Corporate Communications Cathy Bardwick discussed DynaGen's business strategy towards the generic pharmaceuticals business. "Lately, pharmaceutical companies like Glaxo Wellcome (NYSE: GLX) have been very hot on Wall Street as new, patented drugs are introduced," said Cusick.. " Once those patents expire, it opens the door for generic versions of those drugs to be manufactured and sold. Industry estimates are that the generic drug market will expand from the current $8 billion to $15-16 billion per year". Over the next four years, there are a number of branded drugs which enjoy large market share, whose patents are due to expire. DynaGen, Inc. feels it is positioned, through its business strategy, to grow their company from $25 million to $100 million per year over the next several years.

Other companies being discussed and featured on Emerging Company Report this week include:

CARV Industries, Inc. (OTC-BB: CARV) is in the business of design, manufacturing and sales of sports clothing for surfing, snowboarding and in-line skating, the rage of the Generation X crowd. The company sells its lines of clothing through retail outlets and now through the Internet.
