Dave - AMAT never hit 11 in 96 The point is that revenues in this downturn are going to be substantially lower than in the last downturn and yet the minimum market cap is going to be more than twice the minimum market cap of 96 ($11/share x current shares outstanding = 22 x pre-split share outstanding). For a comparible market cap AMAT would have to go to less than 11.
